Take a night off and let our Chefs do the cooking by indulging yourselves with a mid week treat at Saffrons where we will be offering an eclectic 3 course excellent value speciality menu featuring a choice of our favourite dishes from Saffrons menus.

Popadums & chutneys

Starter

(V) Spiced grilled bell peppers & feta cheese mille-feuille,
root vegetable croquette, spinach salad, garlic dip

Fennel infused gilt-head bream fillet,
crispy squid rings, fennel & mango relish

Tandoori chicken tikka pie,
mixed berry chutney, grilled gem lettuce

Bhatti spiced lamb leg pasanda,
smoked aubergine caviar, mint chunda

Main

(V) Malai kofta in kadhai sauce, achari paneer,
panch puran vegetable pulao, pineapple raita

Char grilled scottish salmon, pickled shallots,
crispy oyster pakoda , coconut & konkan sauce

Honey glazed roasted duck breast,
curry leaf couscous, jhol jus, bengali kimchi

Roasted pork loin delicately marinated with fresh ginger
& coriander, slow cooked belly of pork, potato puree, cinnamon jus

Dessert

Saffrons ice cream & sorbet platter
coconut & fennel ice cream, pistachio & pink peppercorn ice cream, rhubarb & ginger sorbet,
raspberry & mint sorbet, white chocolate powder, caramelised nuts

Pineapple, lime & pistachios
pineapple and star anise clafoutis, lime cake,

Manjari, ginger & rhubarb

“We went for the set menu – 3 courses with a choice of 4 dishes per course. All were amazing. A Michelin style experience for £30 a head. There were also pre-dinner snacks and coffee to finish. The drinks were reasonable and the staff exceptional. My wife is Coeliac and every care was taken to ensure she enjoyed everything available.”
