We are the first Ayurvedic hotel destination spa in the United Kingdom.

Ayurveda, for those who are new to the concept, means ‘Science of life’. Originating in India more than 5000 years ago, Ayurveda is truly a natural holistic form of healing and believes that the rhythm of life is at one with the rhythm of nature.

 The Candidate
The renowned Ayush Spa is looking for a friendly, courteous, qualified and experienced individual to join our team.

You will be keen to take on new challenges and committed to providing a courteous and professional service to our guests.

Duties include but are not limited to carry out treatments to the highest standards & targets are met and assist Senior Therapist in maintaining the highest standard of professionalism in all aspects of spa operations. Maintain the fivestar level of service required.

Qualifications and Experience

A recognised qualification in massage, beauty therapy and holistic therapies. Significant 1-2 years work experience in a Spa environment.

Ayurvedic therapy qualification and Reflexology are desirable.  

Skills:

The Hotel de France is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our Front of House team.  The ideal candidate will be keen to take on new challenges and committed to providing a courteous and professional service to our guests. 

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, duties will include supervising, training and co-ordinating Reception staff to provide an effective and helpful service to guests. Duties will also involve daily administration duties, establishing good guest relations and cashiering.

Candidates should have an excellent level of English, good communication skills and the ability to train and motivate staff. 

Qualifications

Qualification in Hospitality and/or Tourism desirable.

 Experience

One to two years experience in a similar role within a large 4/5 star establishment is essential and knowledge of Opera or similar Front Office system would be advantageous.

Skills

  2. A good level of spoken French and / or German is desirable
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

The Candidate

 Our Front Office department requires an individual with a professional, bright and friendly attitude.

Duties will include, but are not limited to, guest check-in / out, providing a helpful and friendly service to our guests and general reception administration.

A good level of spoken and written English is required and also spoken French is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification in Hospitality and/or Tourism is desirable along with some experience in a large 4* establishment and knowledge of Opera, but full training will be given.

Please note preference will be given to candidates with previous relevant experience in a similar environment and a very good level of spoken French.

The Candidate

 The Hotel de France is looking for an efficient and flexible individual to join our busy Kitchen team.

You will be committed to providing a professional service to our guests. 

Reporting to the Head Chef, duties will include keeping guest and public areas clean and tidy to the required standard.

Candidates should have a good level of English and good communication skills.

Qualifications

 Level 2 – Food Safety & Hygiene qualification is desirable.

 Experience

Previous experience in a similar role & environment is essential.

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to help lead and become part of our kitchen team. 

Duties will include developing and learning new recipes, daily preparation and presentation of food and ensuring the kitchen is kept hygienically clean.

You would have obtained an NVQ Level 3/4 in Food Preparation, should have a good knowledge of HAACP and be able to maintain an excellent standard of food safety within the department.      

Qualifications and Experience

Cookery qualifications to NVQ level 3/4 or equivalent and basic food hygiene (CIEH Level 2) are essential

 Previous Chef de Partie experience and a solid work history – at least 2 years within a large 4/5* Hotel or 2/3+ rosette restaurant to Chef de Partie level – are essential requirements.

This position requires a good level of English, good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
