Chef de Partie

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to become part of the Saffrons restaurant kitchen team. 

Duties will include developing and learning new recipes, daily preparation and presentation of food and ensuring the kitchen is kept hygienically clean. 

Qualifications
Cookery qualifications to NVQ level 3 or equivalent and food hygiene to level 2 CIEH or equivalent are essential.

 

Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years culinary experience within a large 4* or 5* Hotel or 3/4 rosette restaurant to Chef de Partie level, with a good understanding of European fine dining and ideally have experience of working with Indian Cuisine and spices.

This position requires a good level of English, good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

Leisure Attendant

You will be outgoing, keen to take on new challenges and committed to providing a professional service to our guests.

Reporting to the Spa Manager, duties will include ensuring the pool area is manned at peak times, providing guests with information about the pool, gym and the spa in a friendly and professional manner. Ensuring all areas are kept clean. Good level of spoken French is an advantage.

A good level of general physical fitness is required.

Qualifications
Pool Lifeguard qualification desirable, but not essential, candidates with the right attitude and personality will be considered and trained for this role. Candidates will be required to take a Pool Emergency Responder course and preference will be given to those already holding this qualification.

Experience
At least 1 year work experience in a similar role is required.

Restaurant Manager

Our Brasserie style restaurant is looking for a friendly, courteous, passionate and experienced individual to join them in this full time role.

Your role will involve ensuring the smooth running of the operation, leading & motivating the team to ensure a high level of service & standards are delivered at all times, maintaining and exceeding the guests’ overall experience.

You will be expected to:

  • maintain a control on expenditure and work to set budget targets and;
  • working closely with the hotel management and the Kitchen to further develop the product, service and profitability of the restaurant.

If you are customer focused, business driven, self motivated and professional individual, with a friendly personality and care passionately about customer service, then this could be the role for you.

Experience

Relevant experience – 2+ years – within a similar Bistro / Brasserie style establishment in a Restaurant Management role is required.
Previous experience with micros or other relevant point of sale would be advantageous.
WSET Level 2 or above is desirable.
Basic Food Hygiene Level 2 required.

Duties include but are not limited to carry out treatments to the highest standards & targets are met and assist Senior Therapist in maintaining the highest standard of professionalism in all aspects of spa operations. Maintain the five star level of service required.

Qualifications & Experience

A recognised qualification in massage, beauty therapy and holistic therapies. Significant 1-2 years work experience in a Spa environment.
Ayurvedic therapy qualification and Reflexology are desirable.

Qualifications & Experience

Working towards or completed qualification in Hospitality and/or Tourism would be an advantage.
You should have at least 1 year previous experience within Front Office in a similar sized large 4* hotel, and knowledge of Opera or similar Front Office system would be advantageous.
