Carpenter

Our Maintenance Department are looking for a colleague who is driven, friendly, enthusiastic and with proven carpentry experience.

Main duties to include general property maintenance, such as small building repair, carpentry, replacing fixtures, fittings and general appliances.

Leisure Attendant

Ayush Spa is looking for a courteous, friendly and motivated individual to join the team.

You will be outgoing, keen to take on new challenges and committed to providing a professional service to our guests.

Reporting to the Spa Manager, duties will include ensuring the pool area is manned at peak times, providing guests with information about the pool, gym and the spa in a friendly and professional manner. Ensuring all areas are kept clean. Good level of spoken French is an advantage.

A good level of general physical fitness is required.

Qualifications

Pool Lifeguard qualification desirable, but not essential, candidates with the right attitude and personality will be considered and trained for this role. Candidates will be required to take a Pool Emergency Responder course and preference will be given to those already holding this qualification.

Experience

At least 1 year work experience in a similar role is required.

Chef de Partie

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to become part of the kitchen team. 

Duties will include combining culinary and supervisory skills to assist and deputise for the Senior Chef de Partie / Sous Chef, the day-to-day running of the sections in compliance with Hotel de France policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will ensure that sections are kept hygienically clean and that equipment is maintained in good working order at all times and will promote team spirit by helping the spread of workload.

Qualifications and Experience

Cookery qualifications to NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent and basic food hygiene (CIEH Level 2) are essential.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years culinary experience within an international large 4/5* Hotel to Chef de Partie level and previous experience in banqueting & restaurant kitchens.

This position requires a good level of English, good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
