  • Bedding:

    All of our linen is cotton/ hypo-allergenic and does not contain feathers. Please add a note on your booking if you require feather free cushions in the room.

    Front-Facing Rooms:

    Front-facing rooms in the Classic Rooms category can be requested; however, they are not guaranteed, especially in the summer season.

    Guaranteed front-facing views are only offered in Premium Balcony Rooms and select Executive Rooms.

    At least 1 guest in the room must be 18 years + 

    All guests travelling from Europe require a passport.

    We do not require ID for locals, unless they do not have an EEA passport.

  • Check in:

    Guaranteed from 15:00 hrs.

    An early check in is subject to availability on the day.

    If the room is not quite ready you are welcome to place your luggage in our porters lodge and use the facilities.

    A late check out will be subject to availability on the day.

    If you enquiry with Reception on the day they will advise if this is possible along with the relevant cost. If available the current prices are as follows: until 1pm @ £40.00 per room, 3pm @ £75.00 per room or after this time the full nights rate applies.

  • Hotel de France is more suited to adult cliental rather than families, we do not have children play area. However we do have a few family rooms that can be booked directly, Children can use the infinity pool up until 6pm and we have a kids menu in the Restaurant.

  • The Hotel de France is situated up a steep drive way which is a few minutes walk from the road and there are a number of steps on the footpath. Should the steps be an issue there is a sloped access available from the road.

    We have onsite parking and disabled parking spaces close to the main reception.

    Our Reception & Spa are located on the ground floor.

    We have lifts to all floors – bedrooms (2nd floor up), restaurant & bar (1st floor).

    There are more than 6 steps down to the indoor spa complex and a number of steps up to the treatment rooms.

    There is are also a few steps within the pool and unfortunately we do not have swimming pool hoists.

    Our Balcony rooms are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair, have a walk in shower and no steps in the room. Additionally these room types on the 1st floor have grab rails in the bathroom.

    Our Restaurant has a bathroom close by that is disabled friendly.

    Please note there are steps leading off our front Terrace to the gardens, however there is also a ramp to the gardens from near the main Reception.

  • Complimentary covered parking is available on-site in our overflow car park. Please follow the signage at the second entrance, just past the Lido Medical Centre parking area.

    Additional parking is available closer to the hotel entrance in the Hotel de France Secure Parking facility, located beneath the Westview Apartments. This car park is chargeable and includes complimentary EV charging.

    All parking spaces are subject to availability and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Restaurant:
    La Terrasse is open during your stay for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner.

    We recommend to book in advance. Please see our restaurant page for timings, menus and to book online.

    Breakfast:

    Freshly cooked daily and served in La Terrasse or in your room with a tray charge.

    Dietary Requirements:

    Hotel de France is used to catering for dietary requirements and we offer a variety of different dishes to suit all - including gluten free, vegetarian & vegan dishes.

    Please advise the restaurant staff when you are seated and they will advise suitable options.

    Dress Code:

    For breakfast and lunch the dress code is casual - t-shirt & shorts are acceptable. For dinner the dress code is smart casual - shirt, trousers or jeans.

  • Airport Transport:

    Hotel de France do not offer airport transfers. You can find a Taxi rank directly outside the arrivals hall at the Airport, the cost would be approximately £35.00 per taxi (prices do vary, so please enquire when entering the Taxi). The journey time will take around 20 minutes depending on traffic.  If you wish to pre-book a taxi or a transfer company, we have listed below some contact numbers. Please note you will need to advise the company your name, arrival time, flight number and contact number.

    There is also a public bus (Number 15) from the Airport to the main bus station. From there you can walk to Hotel de France which would take around 20 minutes or you can take another bus Nos 13, 21, 23 from the Bus station to the Hotel.

    Courtesy Bus:

    Hotel de France provides a courtesy shuttle service from the Hotel to Pitt Street in town.

    Harbour:

    There is a Taxi rank directly outside the arrivals hall at the Harbour, the cost would be approximately £20.00 approximately and the journey time will take around 20 minutes depending on the traffic.     Public Bus: 
    There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Hotel de France drive way that goes to town/ liberation bus station, numbers, 13, 21 & 23. View the Timetable.

  • Electric Bikes Charging:

    Bikes can be stored in upper car park.

    Please advise our reception team if you wish to charge the batteries in your room so that we are aware. For safety reasons, we kindly ask you to monitor the charging period and to not left batteries unattended while plugged in.

    If larger groups (over 10 bedrooms) need the moveable batteries to be charged, it can arranged by Reception in a designated area if requested prior arrival.

    Electric Car Charging:

    Charging points are available in the Westview Carpark by the main entrance of the hotel.

    Guests need to have either a 16A IEC 1 phase (not 3 phase) or 13 Amp adaptor.

    Our daily rate is £8.50 which you can settle at Reception.

  • Ayush Spa:
    All Hotel residents are entitled to access to our Spa facilities and there is no charge at present.

    Spa treatments are separate and we highly recommend to book in advance to ensure availability.

    Healthhaus:

    Hotel residents are welcome to use the main gym equipment during their stay.

    Access to the Milon circuit requires a mandatory induction which can be booked at Healthhaus Reception for a cost of £25.00. Group exercise classes may also be booked, subject to availability on the day and are chargeable.

    We kindly ask all hotel residents to bring a small towel for use on equipment and a water bottle or suitable container. Additionally to please shower and change within your hotel room.
